Overview

Generative AI is changing how businesses create content, analyse information, communicate and complete everyday tasks. Understanding how Large Language Models (LLMs) work and how to communicate with them effectively is an important first step in using AI at work.

In this module, you will get familiar with the Microsoft 365 Copilot interface, learn the fundamentals of prompt engineering and practise writing prompts for different business requirements.

You will also explore how Copilot Chat differs from Copilot app capabilities, understand knowledge graphs and vector stores, and compare leading LLM platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Meta Llama.

The module builds a foundation for using AI tools more effectively, choosing the right tool for a task and getting useful results from AI in everyday business situations.

Tools covered: Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, KIMI, Meta Llama and Google Gemini.
